It’s not enough to want to win federal contracts. It’s not enough to spend hours digesting more boring facts in yet another training workshop for government contractors.

If you truly want to succeed in the federal contracting space, you need hands-on experience bidding on government contracts. That’s what this course helps you accomplish.

Welcome to the Black Women’s Government Contract Empowerment Training, a six-week, real-world simulation of the process successful contractors use to find, bid on, and win government contracts.

For the next six weeks, you and your team will assume the role of federal contractor while the Contracts and Grants team will act as the government agency with whom you are placing a bid. Your job is to do what it takes to win (ethically) a government contract as a supplier for our agency.

You will experience each step of the bid process from identification of an opportunity, to submitting your federal proposal, to evaluation, and finally to debriefing.

This six-week course is designed to work with key members of your team, including your marketing and accounting personnel.

Who should take this course?

If you have unsuccessfully marketed to the government before, then you know the basics. This course addresses the two most common deficiencies, pricing and proposal compliance. Otherwise, we suggest that you take the 12 week course which covers all aspects of winning government contracts

What’s in Black Women’s Government Contract Empowerment Training

  • Weekly group Q&A sessions
  • Evaluation of your final project (including a written debriefing)
  • Six hours of custom one-on-one time with a subject matter expert during which time you may wish to review homework, get feedback from the Contracts and Grants, LLC team, or you may use your one-on-one time to let our experts strengthen your proposal and increase your chances of winning your bid

You can purchase additional one-on-one time at a discounted rate of $85 per hour when you purchase either of the Black Women’s Government Contract Empowerment Training bundles. Once purchased, you can use your one-on-one time at any point during your training.

Tuition

One-time payment of $3,000 per organization per RFP

We encourage Fast Track participants to complete the training program with their teaming partners. You can choose multiple teaming partners to help reduce the cost of the training. As well, going through the training program with your team partner can give both your organization and your partners' organizations a good idea of how the partnership will look in real life.

This is a good opportunity for you to assess whether your selected teaming partners are a good fit for your company during both the bidding process and in fulfilling the contract requirements once a federal contract has been awarded.

We encourage you to consider this option when your budget and/or workforce reaches its capacity. We welcome the opportunity to participate in a consortium with like-minded companies. This is a GREAT way to ease into the government marketplace.

Payment Plan

We also offer a payment plan. Fast Track participants can enroll in the course with a $500 non-refundable deposit, and six equal monthly payments of $416.

Post-Program Benefits

One of the key advantages of being a Fast Track participant is the ongoing business development support we offer.

In the months after your team (including your teaming partners) graduates from the Fast Track Academy's six-week program, you are eligible to receive ongoing support through Group Q&A sessions, Office Hours, and One-on-One sessions. Your support includes:

  • Reduced rate for future training sessions and courses
  • Ongoing match-making services through Team Exchange Network
  • Ongoing referrals
  • Access to our content library for one full year (normally $19.99 per month), which includes access to:
    • Webinars and other recorded content
    • Templates
    • Q&A sessions

To successfully complete this course, you agree to attend all classes, complete assignments on time, and receive a passing score on the final project. If you do NOT successfully complete the course, you may RETAKE the class at no additional charge, but your One-on-One time will not restart. Re-take students may purchase One-on-One time at the discounted rate of $55 an hour.
